This new section on using Google Lively in education has been a long time coming so I hope you find it useful.
On this new page you will find some pointers as to how Google's free 3D room builder can be used to provide your students with an alternative method of accessing lesson materials on-line whilst interacting with one another at the same time.
I should point out that Google Lively is still in Beta and so some desirable features for educational uses are not yet implemented.
But of all the available 3D worlds available for educational use, Lively remains the one with the lowest entry point in terms of cost and resources so for now remains my top pick.
